District land office Receivers were responsible for all financial transactions relating to the sale of public land. This series consists of a fragment of a register of letters received by the Receiver of Public Monies at the St. Stephen's Land Office. Each entry includes the date of receipt, date of letter, amount of postage, office of the letter's origin, and correspondent's name. This log documents the work of the district land office Receiver.
